Daniel ~ Has enrolled in a Algonquin Careers Centre not far from our house in some accounting and payroll courses amongst other things. It seems that all the companies that Daniel applied to originally don't want to take someone on to train him up, they just want someone that is already fully trained.. He is looking for a part time job too... and he had an interview today so we'll wait and see about if that works out...
Gill ~ Had an interview on Monday for a Sales Administration job at a sleep diagnostics company (Nellcor, Puritan & Bennett - Part of Tyco Healthcare...) and on Tuesday they called to say that I got the job. It's only a 12 month contract but that it better than nothing and will offer a bit of stability, and there is a chance of it going permenant after those 12 months...
Even Phoenix has settled in a little more..
This week in the afternoons we haven't really been up to much... mostly trying to ya know do laundry, and tidy stuff up.... but yesterday we went for a drive, I really wanted to get a picture of the parliament buildings from Gatineau... but when we got there it turns out that there isn't really a place to park to get a good picture so this is all I could get...
