Dancing Shoes

This past Sunday night at Shrib we were really lucky to have Chris & Jane come and teach us some ballroom moves. All afternoon I was really worried that the youth would hate it and it would flop big time but they all really loved it and we all had a really great laugh!! Unfortunately because I was dancing too I never actually got pics of the group putting their best foot forward, but we did get these well cool certificates that chris and Jane made to say that we took part in the "Shrib Strictly Dancing Challenge".
Just fyi Daniel and I have also started taking lessons, well, we've had one so far and tomorrow night will be our second. Bring on Mr Du Beke!!! x

Playing Catch - Up

Last Saturday Daniel & I were invited to go over to Josh & Heathers for dinner. Josh & I used to go to the same church back in Montreal, I think probably about 7 years ago... was trying to figure it out I think that that would be about right. Anyways, we had a really great time catching up, playing games & eating some great food (thanks Heather :O) ~ the stuffing & chocolate fondue, particularly gorgeous!! - not together though .....hmm..) so yeah, thanks guys, was great to see you, hope everything goes well in April. xx

I was thinking to myself just this morning that this coming May will be 5 years since I moved back to the UK. Five years has gone sooo fast and I still remember the day we landed like it were yesterday!! (I'm sure you can to nat... remembr when you helped me unpack in that tiny bedroom in Edward Close & 1 of us had to sleep on the floor?! - nice!!)

A lot has happend and changed since I've been here and I decided that this blog should be a huge thank you to friends either that I've met in the last 5 years or that I knew from before, I am really grateful that God gave me such a great bunch of friends ~ you're fab guys, thanks... xx

I don't have a lot to say tonight.. it is quite late and I'm rather tired... But just because I can I have to quickly say this....
