Sharks....

Pool sharks I mean.. The social group at Tyco arranged a pool tournament at local bar for friday night and Daniel and I, being Team Bentley, actually did rather well... we made it all the way to the final until I let the whole team down by sratching right at the end - it was bound to happen... it always does..

Thats it really, thats all there is to say.. after church last week we (10 of us, well 11 including little Phillippe) went to Swiss Chalet for lunch...

Then after being stuffed with chicken pot pie, half/quarter chickens or hot chicken sandwiches we just relaxed (with a nice cup of tea) and enjoyed the gorgeous sunshine...

(I wrote this post last week after lunch but I couldn't add any pictures so I didn't post it... today I came in and edited the words a little and finally got the camera to work on our new computer.. hope you enjoyed the pictures)

This Week: Ottawa

No pictures on this one I'm afraid... I just wanted to let people know that we are still here.. haven't moved on or anything... Sorry for the delay in updating this... this week I have worked late every night and since I'm the only one of the two of us that actually updates this it justa hasn't been done...

This week we reached above zero in temperature, like 7's and 13 one day (yay!!) but tonight it is supposed to go below freezing again and we are supposed to get some snow.. .we'll see...

Anyways its Thursday so we are about to run out to housegroup but I will update some more soon I promise.

Spring..???

Last night the City of Ottawa issued a major snow warning saying that we were going to 20cms of snow overnight, which actually only turned out to be just about half of that but what they didn't say was thtat it was going to turn to freezing rain, with gusty winds etc... so the 20min max drive to work took a lot longer...



This is the report for the next 24 hours... am so NOT looking forward to the drive home...
