Spring..???

Last night the City of Ottawa issued a major snow warning saying that we were going to 20cms of snow overnight, which actually only turned out to be just about half of that but what they didn't say was thtat it was going to turn to freezing rain, with gusty winds etc... so the 20min max drive to work took a lot longer...



This is the report for the next 24 hours... am so NOT looking forward to the drive home...

Local blowing snow this morning and early this afternoon. Wind east 40 km/h gusting to 60 becoming southeast 20 this afternoon. High minus 1. Tonight..Cloudy. A few flurries beginning this evening. Amount 2 cm. Wind southeast 20 km/h becoming light overnight. Temperature steady near minus 2.
