May Two Four Weekend

This weekend we had planned to go to Gatineau Park camping for the weekend but it appears that everyone else had the same idea and as it turns out tomorrow is not suppoed to be very warm so..

Anyways.. we still got a lot done today, we left our place at around 10 this morning, and headed downtown to do Daniel's first (of probably many) walk abouts round the parliament buildings.

Today was the perfect day for it too.. sun shining!!..

This is the eternal flame on Parliament Hill, its a water fountain with a flame coming out of it....

Then we wandered along by the canal and headed to the byward market for a little look and some lunch.

A similar picture of the canal was posted on here a couple of weeks ago... we actually went this time for real :)

In the Byward Market area of town we came across this:

After that we headed to Bryan and Tracy's to watch the Sens game, They were 3-1 up in the series against Buffalo and at the end of regular time it was 2-2.... extra time here we came -again...
