Even more Patio Time!!

Well after the on/off weather we had yesterday, causing our works corporate event to be cancelled, we were not sure if our "girls night out" would be forced to go the same way, but I was lucky enough to be able to secure a table inside at Poncho Villa even if it did rain!

As it turns out by the time 5:00 rolled around the sun was back out again so we were able to enjoy out cocktails on the patio after all!!

This was not our first visit to Poncho Villa, if you remember we were there back in June, although that time there were only 4 of us there and last night we able to double our numbers!!

WAKEFEST!!!

As the title tells you this past weekend was Wakefest.

This is a youth event that has been held for the past 4 years and is just an incredible time spent on the water at a lake near Mt Tremblant.

A couple, Ed & Holly, who used to go to Sequoia, open up their cottage and they drive their boat for us all day whilst we wake board and tube on the water.

We left Mother Teresa High School at around 6:45 on Friday night and pulled into the cotttage at about 9.30 (taking into account a bathroom break!) where we uncurled our sleeping bags, put up tents - for the boys, and then a few went into the water! Finally got to sleep at about 1ish.. you know teenage girls and chatting!

Saturday morning we were awake bright and early - 6.15 am!! and were up, dressed, had had breakfast and were on the water by 8am!!

and this is where we stayed for the next 12 hours!!

What an awesome fun filled weekend, complete with 2 baptisms!

Time Flies when your having fun!!!

Nothing to really say besides "well done us!!!"

So far today we have been to the Papanack Zoo, and been to see the movie Bourne Ultimatum, and for dinner tonight we are going to the Baton Rouge downtown and then maybe to see the light show at Parliament Hill.

For Mom & Dad - Soccer Pics!! amongst other info

Mom and Dad had asked how soccer was going and were surprised to find that there were no soccer pics up here so last night Daniel came to watch my game at Ottawa U - oh to take some pictures.

Kick off wasn't until 9.30pm - which if your not a mathmagician I will inform you means that it was quite a late night not finishing our game until just before 11pm!! - by which time of course your so pumped up it take about another hour at least before you even begin to feel tired!!

Needless to say those of my colleagues on my team were a tad blurry eyes this morning :)

Oh well... today was Friday for me as I have the rest of the week off. Tomorrow is our 4th anniversary (thanks to Nannie & Grandad and Nat & Mike who's cards were early!!) and Friday night we head to Trmblant (well a lake nearby) for Wakefest!! which is wake boarding.. which for those who might not know is where we sit on something and get pulled around the lake by a speedboat... bring it on!!! can't wait for that!!!
